EXCLUSIVE TO THE TIMES
Sir, The Channel 4 TV programme on "The Great global warming swindle"
(9pm 7th March) offered compelling evidence that the sun, not man-made
greenhouse gases, is the driver of our climate change.
Around 1960 I recall that the South of Scotland Electricty Board in an article in the engineering press, on electricity demand forecasting , revealed that once in every eleven years sunspot activity was a significant factor.
