Sir, Why does Peter Jones (Opinion, 20 June) make the point that nuclear power stations produce no carbon dioxide 'in their operation at least'? Why does he not mention that the same is true of wind farms?
An authoritative international comparison shows that, taking account of
the full fuel cycle, nuclear produces far less CO2 than other methods,
and 60 per cent less than wind turbines.
