Conference Overview
Platts 2nd Annual Nuclear Energy brings together the leading companies
and the leaders in the industry to discuss the how, why, and where of
the growth of nuclear energy in North America.
The Energy Act of 2005 helps set the stage for short and long-term
growth in nuclear power in the United States, and the questions that
remain are critical for the growth of sustainable electric power
generation. How will the nuclear industry and the financial industry
respond to the opportunities? How will utilities manage the challenges
of new construction, including the risks and uncertainties involved in
long term finance? And how will the boom in nuclear power worldwide
affect decisions about the pace of new plants construction in North
America?
The format of this summit-style event combines keynote presentations
and high-level panel discussions among the key participants in the
nuclear renaissance in North America.
