You were quoted in the Guardian as saying that Spain was producing 50% of its electricity from wind power. I resigned from Greenpeace some time ago because I felt that it was not giving accurate information to its members and the public. This is either a blatant lie or you do not know what you are talking about. Spain produces just over 14% of its electricity needs from wind power. On one occasion, on a particularly windy day, it DID produce more than 50% of its needs from wind, but this was an exceptional situation. Although I suspect that, like Denmark, It couldn't use that electricity effectively.
